Flower Pin Cushion

Hey everyone, Tabatha here!

Spring in Texas always brings a plethora of wildflowers so I thought I’d make a wildflower project to celebrate the return of spring, even as the last of winter lingers on.

I was pinning a quilt to my long arm the other day and thinking I really needed a pin cushion that I could wear on my wrist for convenience. So that is exactly what I made.

First,  I took the green leafy print from the Camellia fabric collection from Love My Fabrics and cut out leaves, then made a “flower” center from the floral print from the same collection. A little stuffing and some elastic and presto! A pretty flower pin cushion for my wrist.
